Customer Care/311

Schertz 311 provides a central contact point for residents to report an issue, request a service, seek information/referrals, and direct complaints, compliments, and suggestions regarding city services.

Schertz residents are the eyes and ears of our city and we need your help in keeping Schertz a wonderful place to live, work, play, and learn! Keeping a city beautiful and vibrant is the responsibility of both the government and its residents. If you have concerns about the conditions of our city and want to help make it a better place or if you notice issues like potholes, streetlight outages, overflowing trash cans, or other issues that affect the appearance and safety of our city, we encourage you to report them. By getting involved and reporting issues and concerns you care about, you can help shape the future of our city and ensure it remains beautiful for generations to come.

How to Reach Us

We are available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Report Urgent Issues

To report issues outside of these hours, please select the voicemail option for your issue. If your issue requires urgent attention (loose or dangerous animals, water main breaks, sewer problems, etc.), our emergency communication staff will contact the on-call staff to respond.

For issues that can wait for the next business day, leave a message with the appropriate department and our staff will assist you.

311 is a non-emergency service and is not monitored 24/7. In the case of police, fire, or medical emergencies, calls will be immediately transferred to 911 for dispatch.
