Schertz Fire Rescue is dedicated to educating the citizens we serve on fire prevention. A vital part of our mission is to educate children in the area; through these education efforts, we can prevent future fires and/or loss of life. We accomplish this goal by visiting local schools and day cares annually during Fire Prevention Week in October along with various events and programs throughout the year.
