Schertz Area Senior Center
The Schertz Area Senior Center is owned by the City of Schertz and managed through a partnership with the Schertz Family YMCA.
Membership
We have many Seniors who attend the Center regularly. We enjoy each other’s company and have made many new friends, but there is always room for others. Please come join us! Membership dues are $36.00 per year ($3 per month) and include ALL of the following activities plus many more.

Free Lunch Program
The City of Schertz offers a free lunch program at the Center Monday – Friday from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM (excluding City holidays.)
SPECIAL EVENTS
Join the Senior Center for The Sweetheart Dance Friday, February 15, 2019; 6:00 - 8:00 PM; 608 Schertz Parkway. Residents 50 years and up are invited for a FREE evening of entertainment. The dance is hosted by WellMed.
Senior Trips
Join the Senior Center to participate in the exciting field trips (fees vary by destination.)
Day Trips: Painted Churches Tour & Shiner Brewery, Historic Gruene, LBJ Ranch, Fredericksburg, Wimberley, San Antonio Missions NHP, Holiday Lights Tour
Casino Trips: (day and multi-day provided by 3rd parties)
