Corrected Council Minutes Approved

 
In a special session of the Schertz City Council August 20, a corrected version of the August 7 City Council minutes was approved showing a 3-2 record vote setting the preliminary tax rate for FY-2012-13 at $0.5095 per $100 valuation.
 
The minutes state council members George Antuna, Jim Fowler and Michael Carpenter voted yes and Council members David Scagliola and Cedric Edwards voted no on the tax rate.
 
Council members also voted to hold the first public hearing on the FY 2012-13 city budget during the August 28 council meeting instead of the Aug. 21 meeting.
