Angelina Kiser has been a resident of Schertz since 1989. She is highly involved in her community, serving on the Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors since 2009 and serving as the board’s vice president since 2010, as well as being an active member of the Community Advisory Committee since 2015, and the Samuel Clemens Campus Improvement Committee since 2014. She is committed to keeping Schertz a place where people want to live and raise their children and grandchildren.
Angelina earned her B.S, MBA, and Ph.D. from Texas State University in San Marcos. She has worked in industry, been a high school teach, and is now a university management professor and department coordinator at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. She teaches courses in business ethics, diversity in organization, business statistics, and management theory and practice. Angelina has also presented her journal publication papers at numerous conferences around the world.
Elected as a City Councilmember in November, 2016, Angelina looks forward to serving the residents of Schertz and addressing the future growth and needs of the city. She has prepared herself for public service through her education and work experience and welcomes comments and questions so that she can better address the needs of the residents.
In her free time, Angelina enjoys traveling, working out, sports of all kinds, and reading. She is especially fond of spending time with her husband and two sons as well as other members of her family, many of whom are also Schertz residents.
