Schertz EMS is partnering with Schertz Police Department to offer Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) with Stop the Bleed (STB).
The CRASE course provides strategies, guidance, and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
The Stop the Bleed course prepares you to respond to emergencies where there is a high suspicion of massive bleeding from an injury. You will learn how to use pressure, dressings, and tourniquets to save lives and prevent uncontrolled bleeding.
The CRASE/STB course is held from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM. Courses are held in the Schertz EMS Training Room in Building 7.
