This department is responsible
for maintaining all water utility customer accounts. Prepares
water utility bills for mailing. Collects utility payments
and posts these payments to the customer's account. Is
responsible for sewer averaging every year. The department
also bills and collects for garbage pickup for residential,
commercial and construction. Office personnel provide friendly
and efficient service for all customers and solves complaints
in a timely manner. This department also collects various
payments made to other departments.
The City of Schertz has recently changed bank depositories.
If you have your bills electronically withdrawn from your
account, your statement will now read "Operating" instead
of "Schertz." We are working with our bank
depository to change the posting.
