ASHI's CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for layperson. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest and choking incidents for adults, children, and infants and conforms to the 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines. The ASHI CPR and AED course certifies each passing participant for 2-years.
The ASHI Basic First Aid course helps participants develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. This first aid training program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting and conforms to the 2015 American Heart Association and American Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid. This course may be taken separately or combined with the ASHI CPR/AED course at a discounted rate. The ASHI Basic First Aid course certifies each passing participant for 2-years.

Get your little ones outdoors to discover the exciting nature right in our own backyard. Kids are encouraged to explore, discover, and ask questions to help grow their knowledge of nature. This free program is designed for families with elementary-aged children, but older and younger siblings are also welcome. Texas Master Naturalist volunteers will lead the themed programs held at 10:00 AM at Crescent Bend Nature Park.

October 12: Discover Rocks; Senses and Sediments - Use 5 senses on earth's building blocks.
November 9: Discover the Forest - Explore how each living thing plays a role in a forest.
