The City of Schertz Police Department is currently applying for the 09 Recovery Act: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program for a Technology Improvement Project to outfit remaining patrol units with mobile data computers, provide officers with individual video camera microphones and upgrades to current emergency lighting.
