In 2021, The library partnered with Alamo Workforce Solutions on a kiosk project. In addition, with the CARES grant the library was awarded, we were able to add A-Z Databases to our electronic resource selections for the majority of 2021.
Alamo Workforce Solutions Partnership
Schertz Public Library worked in partnership with Alamo Workforce Solutions to provide a space in the library for their organization to install a kiosk station to assist job seekers at the library. Attached is a photo of the kiosk set-up.
AtoZdatabases
With the CARES grant, Schertz Public Library was able to add a few electronic resources to our collection. One of the resources selected was AtoZ Databases. AtoZdatabases is a directory and marketing database that includes 30 million businesses and 220 million residents. It is ideal for sales leads, mailing lists, market research, job searches and finding friends and relatives. This resource was available through September of 2021.
