Curbside Hold Pick-Up

Times for pick-up will be during library's operating hours. To place a hold, you must already have a Full Access Library Card with us.  

How this will work:

  1. Place a hold online at catalog.schertzlibrary.org or by phone (210) 619-1700
  2. You’ll receive a notification when items are ready for pick-up. The type of notification will depend on the settings you chose when setting up your account with us. You can always call us to determine what notification method you have or to change it. 
  3. When you have been notified that the items are in fact ready for you, pull up to the designated curbside pick-up area facing the building by the drive-thru book drop (parking spaces will be marked with cones). Video overview of curbside hold pick-up service
  4. Once parked, call us at 210-619-1700. When you call, you will need your library card to give us the number via telephone so we can check items out to you.
  5. You will be assigned a color and will need to watch for a library staff member to wave your color near the drive thru book drop. At which time, you should proceed to the drive thru and the staff member will either place items in your trunk or in your rear passenger seat.
  6. Have items to return? Please use drive-through drop for item returns.
