Veterans Memorial Plaza

The Schertz Veterans Memorial Plaza honors the men and women who serve or have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America-past, present, and future. 

Flags and monuments to each of the services - Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard, along with the American, Texas, and POW/MIA flags proudly welcome visitors and pay tribute through personalized pavers and memorial benches. 

Construction of the Plaza was funded through donations, sponsors, paver sales, and volunteers. Personalized pavers are available for purchase throughout the year. Engraving/placement will take place in February and September of each year.
