Free Reading Tutoring

Get a reading boost this spring with Free Reading Tutoring! Help your student become a proud, confident learner ready to finish the school year strong. We are offering free in-person reading tutoring from a certified teacher and reading specialist. Sign up for a 30-minute session, bring your reading schoolwork with you, and receive one-on-one instruction. Open to any K-12 students needing extra reading support. A parent or caregiver must remain in the library (though not with the reading pair) during the tutoring session. Library patron Julie Forsberg is offering her time and expertise to our community. She is a certified teacher and reading specialist and has been teaching for 16 years.
Attendance is FREE, but we do ask that you sign up in advance (or be prepared to sign in at the door). Please register the individual(s) who will be participating.
Please do not attend programs if any of the following apply:
- Participant has had a fever of 100 or higher within the past 24 hours.
- Participant has vomited or has had diarrhea within the past 24 hours.
- Participant has rash.
- Participant has a sore throat and/or swollen glands causing difficulty swallowing.
- Participant has constant cough.
- Participant has symptoms of possible communicable disease (colored nasal discharge, red eyes, sore throat, headache, abdominal pain, fever, and/or skin spots, bumps or patches).
