Don’t be in the Dark! Solar Eclipse Program

Join us for a solar-themed read-aloud, craft, and activities to celebrate the coming Annular Solar Eclipse. Free eclipse viewing glasses will be available courtesy of StarNet. (One pair of glasses will be provided per person ages 4 and older while supplies last.)

Prepare for the upcoming Annular Solar Eclipse visible on October 14, 2023, and the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. The library will host programming leading up to the solar eclipses. On the day of the Annular Solar Eclipse, we’ll have viewing glasses available so that you can safely view the eclipse. Keep your solar glasses in a safe place for reuse.
