[ARCHIVED] Fireworks Prohibited Within City Limits

Happy Independence Day, a time to celebrate with family and friends! No matter how great the party is, it is never the time to violate Schertz' fireworks ordinance 30.64 which prohibits the sale, use, or possession of fireworks in the City. Fireworks can be sold and used outside Schertz' limits; however, with current dry conditions, the use of fireworks is advised against. For more information, call the Fire Department at (210) 619-1300.

The City of Schertz cares about our residents and wants to help ensure that everyone has a safe Fourth of July holiday. We would like to invite you and your families out to the 43rd Annual 4th of July Jubilee at Pickrell Park to watch the fireworks spectacular presented by H-E-B! Fireworks start at 9:15 PM.
