At the August 14 Schertz City Council Meeting, a tax rate of $0.5146 per $100 valuation was proposed for adoption by the governing body of City of Schertz.
Two public hearings will be held on August 28 and September 4 at 6:00 PM at the Council Chambers to discuss the adoption of the proposed FY 2018-19 Budget and Tax Rate. The City also held three Community Budget Meetings to encourage the community to provide feedback on the FY 2018-19 Proposed Budget.
