[ARCHIVED] 2019 Citizen Satisfaction Survey

Schertz Council Chambers

The City of Schertz will be conducting the 2019 Citizen Satisfaction Survey over the next few weeks. The survey is being administered by ETC Institute, a national leader in survey research, who has conducted hundreds of citizen satisfaction surveys for cities across the country. Approximately 3,000 Schertz households will be chosen at random to participate in the survey. This quantity of households is needed in order to obtain a sufficient sample that represents the views and perceptions of the entire community. Selected households will have the opportunity to complete the survey by mail, via the online link or over the phone. The survey should take participants approximately 15 minutes to complete and all personal information will remain confidential.

“This feedback initiative provides residents the opportunity to identify where the City is doing well, where we have room for improvement, and helps staff identify budget priorities,” said City Manager Dr. Mark Browne. “In Schertz we value citizen engagement and look forward to using these survey results to make important long-range planning and investment decisions.”

The survey will ask residents about their level of satisfaction and priorities for a wide range of community services including public safety, parks and recreation, code enforcement, public works, communication and customer service. The information collected will help shape future decisions as the City continues to grow and improve the community.

Survey results will be presented to City Council later this summer, and will be made available to the public shortly after. For more information on this survey, please contact the Schertz Public Affairs Department at (210) 619-1630.
