Although the risk for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is still low in our area, Schertz officials are actively monitoring the situation on a daily basis. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
Our number one concern is the health of the public and our employees, and is at the center of all of our decisions. We will continue with the closures and cancellations in place and we will close/cancel facilities and events through April 5 with the intent to re-open on April 6. As a reminder, the facilities that are closed are the Civic Center, Library, Park Pavilions and Senior Center. Additionally, we believe that limiting staff interaction with the public is crucial at this point and as such, we plan to close the lobby doors at all City facilities except the Police Department. The drive through window will continue to be open at City Hall.
Residents are strongly encouraged to conduct city business online, by email, or by phone. Please note that as we transition these non-essential operations customers may experience longer wait times. We appreciate your patience as we work through this unprecedented situation.
See below for more information on city services, or if you do not see what you are looking for please call 311 or send an email to Customercare@schertz.com.
