At the August 11 Schertz City Council Meeting, Council voted on and approved the preliminary maximum tax rate for the FY 2020-21 budget. The approved maximum tax rate was set at $0.5146. The final adopted tax rate may be lower than this rate, but it cannot exceed the $0.5146.
The city invites residents to join us for the two public hearings and votes on the FY 2020-21 Budget and Tax Rate coming up in the next couple of weeks.
