At the September 22 Schertz City Council Meeting, Council approved a Tax Rate of $0.5121 on the second and final reading. The approved FY 2020-21 Budget and Tax Rate will go into effect beginning October 1.
At the September 8 Schertz City Council Meeting, Council approved the FY 2020-21 Budget on the second and final reading and preliminarily approved a Tax Rate of $0.5121 on the first reading.
At the September 1 Schertz City Council Meeting, Council preliminarily approved the FY 2020-21 Budget on the first reading.
At the August 11 Schertz City Council Meeting, Council voted on and approved the preliminary maximum tax rate for the FY 2020-21 budget. The approved maximum tax rate was set at $0.5146. The final adopted tax rate may be lower than this rate, but it cannot exceed the $0.5146.
