On Thursday, February 18, Governor Abbott announced a statewide effort to collect damage assessment data for this unprecedented winter weather event. This information is being collected to help officials across the state gain an understanding of damages for individuals throughout Texas.
If you or your business were affected by the freeze (i.e. no power, no running water, no natural gas, frozen or damaged water pipes, etc.), you are asked to fill out the online form. The success of this effort will assist the local jurisdictions with the eligibility to potential federal programs.
