[ARCHIVED] Masks Still Required at City Buildings

Masks Required

Although Gov. Greg Abbott is lifting the statewide mask mandate on Wednesday, March 10, the City of Schertz has made the decision to continue to require masks when entering any City buildings or facilities. City employees will also still be required to wear masks. This decision was made to protect the health and well-being of the City’s staff and residents and will be reevaluated in 30 days to see if any changes will be made at that time. Please note, each business/employer has the discretion to determine what is in their best interest regarding their mask policy.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 vaccine clinics that are being held at the Schertz Civic Center, rentals of this facility are unavailable until further notice.

The City encourages residents to continue to take the necessary safety precautions to keep themselves and their loved ones safe while efforts to vaccinate the public are underway.
