Forty eight transportation projects are competing for federal funding over the next four years through the AAMPO Transportation Improvement Program. Schertz is competing for federal funding for the expansion of FM 1518. This project expands the roadway from 2 to 4 lanes with raised median or a center left turn lane, bike lanes and sidewalks.
