  1. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Family & Friends Mental Health Workshop

    Join us Sunday, January 29th from 1:00-5:00 PM in Meeting Room 1 for a free 4 hour seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. This seminar is also open to the public to learn more about mental health. Participants will leave with a booklet, which includes all the seminar leader’s information presented that day. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and other NAMI resources. Seminar leaders have personal experience with mental health conditions in their own families.

  1. Free Math Tutoring

    We are helping kids understand math and enhancing important math concepts for students in 4th-8th grade. Drop in with your math concerns, questions, and/or problems for free math tutoring on Mondays from 3-5 PM in Meeting Room 2. Open to anyone who has math questions, for this level, including parents and grandparents, homeschool parents and kids, and of course 4th-8th grade students. Library patron Casey St. Clair is offering her time and expertise to our community. She is a certified teacher and has been tutoring in math for 12 years.

    Toddler Storytime is for library users between the ages of 20 months to 3 years with an accompanying adult. We will get moving as we share fingerplays, songs, books, and rhymes. Siblings are welcome to attend. Registration required. Storytime is offered on a rotating schedule. Storytime will be held for 6 weeks then break for 3 weeks.

    All teens, ages 13-18 are welcome to come hang out at the library. Activities vary from week to week - sometimes we game, sometimes we watch movies, sometimes we art... you help decide. Registration required. Weekly Youth Programs are offered on a rotating schedule. Teen Tuesdays will be held for 6 weeks then break for 3 weeks.
