    Schertz Police Department

Each year the Schertz Police Department hosts a Junior Academy to give young children a behind the scenes look at how the Police Department operates. The attending students will learn about the "tools" of the police belt, fingerprinting and basic forensics and many other police related topics. The camp is a great way to meet new people, team build and get a first-hand look into law enforcement and emergency services. The camp is open to boys and girls that reside in the City of Schertz, and are from the ages of 8 to 11, with one class for ages 8 to 9, and one ages 10 to 11. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to Noon during the scheduled week.
